THE VILLAIN:    Karl Stromberg (Curt Jurgens) - shipping magnate with webbed hands and an obsession with the world beneath the sea.

 

SUB-VILLAINS:    Sergi Borzov (Michael Billington) - KGB agent killed by Bond at opening of film, lover of Major Anya Amasova.

                                Jaws (Richard Kiel) - looming, indestructible killer with metal teeth.

                                Sandor (Milton Reid) - killer working for Stromberg.

                                Aziz Fekkesh (Nadim Sawalha) - intermediary in the sale of submarine tracking plans.

                                Max Kalba (Vernon Dobtcheff) - Egyptian nightclub owner who has obtained the submarine tracking system plans and offers them for sale.

                                Naomi (Caroline Munro) - secretary to Stromberg and lethal helicopter pilot.

                                Liparus Captain (Sydney Tafler) - Stromberg operative manning his submarine-eating supertanker.

 

VILLAIN'S PLOT:    Stromberg intends to destroy above-ground civilization by using stolen nuclear submarines to ignite World War III among the superpowers and create his own kingdom beneath the sea.

 

BOND WOMEN:    Log Cabin Girl (Sue Vanner) - KGB agent who is in an embrace with Bond at film's opening.

                                Felicca (Olga Bisera) - beautiful woman helping to trap Bond when he goes to meet Fekkesh, warns 007 before Sandor can shoot him.

                                Major Anya Amasova (Barbara Bach) - KGB spy who joins forces with 007, unaware that he killed her lover.

 

BONDS ALLIES:    Admiral Hargreaves (Robert Brown) - Royal Navy Admiral, flag office, submarines.

                                Sheik Hosein (Edward de Souza) - Cambridge-educated Egyptian with intelligence contacts who helps Bond on his mission.

                                Captain Benson (George Baker) - liaison at Polaris submarine base in Scotland.

                                Captain Carter, USS Wayne captain (Shane Rimmer) - US Navy officer who transports Bond to the Liparus via submarine.

                                Commander Talbot, HMS Ranger captain (Bryan Marshall) - Royal Navy officer whose submarine is the first to be captured by Stromberg.

 

THE BOND TEAM:    M (Bernard Lee) - head of the British Secret Service, an authoritative father figure who sends Bond on his missions.
